Are you or your children interested in playing piano? My name is Barbara Bonavoglia, I’m located in Bohemia, NY, and I’m an experienced piano teacher who is accepting students who are at beginning and intermediate levels. I have developed a method to teach “those in a hurry” to play their favorite songs without having to spend weeks learning one song. It’s never too late to learn, especially this method. So don’t let your age stop you from accomplishing your heart’s desire to play piano.

Learn how to compose.

One of my personal enjoyments is to teach my students to compose their own songs. I encourage them to create a title of their song and possible lyrics. Once they have completed their song, I work with them to write their composition onto sheet music. This improves their timing skills. Final step is to play the completed song into a song writing program then print out their song on sheet music, at which time they can apply for copyright or just enjoy performing their own song.
